Change in Seasons Brings a Change in Our Services
It's almost fall. The nights are getting a bit nippy and trees are showing a tinge of color. The Seahawks have played their first game of the season (they'll do better next week against the Packers!) and the days are getting noticeably shorter.
Of course, that means the leaves will be falling and the inevitable winter rainy season is soon to follow. For us, that means many, many previous customers calling to prepare their roofs and gutters for winter with a fall cleaning.
While roof and gutter cleaning is a big part of our business, so is our commitment to remaining a small, family-owned and operated business. We are fanatical about customer service and quality of workmanship, and from day one we decided we want to keep our business in the family.
Quite frankly, we are swamped. We have cleaning appointments scheduled many weeks in advance and we do not want to overcommit or underperform, because quality and customer experience are everything to us.
As a result, we have made the difficult decision to limit our roof and gutter cleaning services to existing customers only. We may reevaluate this decision down the road a few months, but for the time being we simply cannot in good conscience bring on any new cleaning customers.
We do want to stress that this does not affect our gutter installation services: If you are a new customer looking for an estimate for a new gutter system or DebrisShield gutter screen system, we will be happy to make an on-site visit and prepare a free quote for a quality solution for your home or business. Plese give us a call at (360) 264-4574 or use our contact form on this website.
Taking "Family Owned and Operated" to a New Level
As I said above, we have been committed from day one to keeping our business family-owned and operated. We have no aspirations to turn into another LeafGuard! We like being personally involved in every aspect of our customers' experience, and we plan to keep it that way.
Our two boys, Jeremy and Kyle, have been working with us in the business for over five years. As of this fall, we have made them full partners in the business.
Jeremy has been working in the gutter installation business since we was 18, and was with us from the beginning in 2010 when then took over the business that we now call Capitol Gutter. Kyle came on board soon after, and we've taught him just about everything he knows :)
We are very proud of our boys, and we're confident that they will help us continue our family business for many years to come.
To all of our previous and existing customers, a sincere thank you for your continued patronage. Without you we wouldn't have such difficult decisions to make.
